High Cotton Homes is a full service custom home building company based in northwest Alabama. High Cotton Homes was formed in 2016 after identifying the need for current building science in the Shoals area. From the very first meeting, we strive for clarity with our clients by getting to know what you want and expect in a home. We are a design-build company, working with a home designer that can create the perfect set of floor plans and an interior designer to assist clients along the way with selections. We also feature a dedicated financial account manager and CoConstruct building software; CoConstruct connects builder, client, subcontractors, and suppliers, helping to keep the budget transparent and progress clear.
At High Cotton Homes, our goals are quality, honesty, and client satisfaction. We build personalized estimates for each of our builds to give you the most accurate portrayal of construction cost. We strive to provide the Shoals area with the most current building techniques and products. We take extra steps by offering crawlspace encapsulation, active radon systems, superior building envelope systems, HVAC design and efficient insulation packages to help make your home a safe, secure investment for your family's future.
If you are interested in building a new home in the Shoals area, we would love to meet and show you the High Cotton Homes difference.
"Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets.”
-Matthew 7:12 NLT

Will was born and raised in Leighton, AL. After graduating from Muscle Shoals High School, he moved to Birmingham where he married his wife, Brooke. He found a passion for the fire service in 2007 and became a professional firefighter/ paramedic; he then went on to graduate from Athens State University with a Bachelors in Public Safety and Health Administration. In 2011, Will renovated and flipped a home in Birmingham and was able to find success with several more over the next few years. This early remodeling gave him a unique insight into building structure and the "what not to do's" in homes. In 2013, he and Brooke moved back to Tuscumbia where he trained to be an appraiser, but he truly loved the building and structural side of homes. Early in 2016, Will observed the need for current building science and technology in the Shoals area, so he completed the training to become a licensed home builder and formed High Cotton Homes. Since then, Will made the incredibly tough decision to leave Decatur Fire and Rescue in March of 2018 and focus on growing High Cotton Homes. In his off time, Will enjoys being on the lake, hunting and doing life with Brooke and his daughter, Everly.

He became a licensed general contractor in 1996 and has since gone on to design and build numerous high end residential and boutique commercial projects. In 2006, he became a partner in Southern Draw P, LLC, a full service architectural firm completing work in TN, NC, SC and AL. Mack recently returned to Florence to be closer to family and joined up with High Cotton Homes late in 2018 where he designs our floor plans. We are thrilled to have his years of experience as a builder and home designer on the High Cotton team!

She married Will in 2008 and has been involved in remodeling houses with Will from the beginning, starting with their first home in Fultondale. Brooke has always been a "hands on" type person, so she learned many of the skills alongside Will as they flipped homes. She was once again ready to help when he formed High Cotton Homes. Brooke does the website design and maintenance, social media, marketing, and other outreach initiatives. Brooke still works part-time as a CRNA across the Shoals and enjoys spending time with Everly and keeping up with her chickens and garden.

He now functions full time as a job site manager and enjoys playing golf and seeing his fiancée, Jordan, in his off time.
Adam grew up in Bay Minette, AL, and relocated to the Shoals area in 2006. After graduation, he worked alongside Will renovating homes in Birmingham, where he picked up knowledge on the homebuilding trades. Upon moving back to Muscle Shoals, he began a career as a professional firefighter, as well as owned and operated a fence building company. In 2018, he decided to join High Cotton Homes.
