WILL KING

, PRESIDENT

LICENSED RESIDENTIAL HOME BUILDER

Will was born and raised in Leighton, AL. After graduating from Muscle Shoals High School, he moved to Birmingham and married his wife, Brooke. In 2007, he became a professional firefighter/ paramedic and went on to graduate from Athens State University with a Bachelors in Public Safety and Health Administration.  In 2011, Will renovated and flipped a home in Birmingham, AL, and was able to find success with several more over the next few years. This early remodeling gave him a unique insight into building structure and the "what not to do's" in homes. In 2013, he and Brooke moved back to Tuscumbia where he trained to be an appraiser, but he truly loved the building and structural side of homes. Early in 2016, Will observed the need for current building science in the Shoals area, so he completed the training to become a licensed home builder and formed High Cotton Homes. Will made the incredibly tough decision to leave Decatur Fire and Rescue in March of 2018 and focus on growing High Cotton Homes. Will has three beautiful daughters that keep him busy in his off time.
